Counseling
I am a part-time clinician at Voyages Counseling where I see clients via Telehealth. I am a licensed professional counselor (CO), a national certified counselor, and certified in thanatology (death, dying, and bereavement).
I view our life journey as a collection of experiences that influence who we are and how we view the world. We often experience (and can expect) to deal with hurdles and roadblocks that can make some days unbearable. This is where counseling comes in. I love joining alongside others and empowering them to keep making steps when they don’t think they can. My passions and specialty lie within grief counseling. Grief is a universal experience that we all share. This can be the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, a change in financial status, etc. We all have experienced losses that change us and can be challenging to process. I have clinical experience, training, and a research focus on how counselors can best support grieving individuals of all ages on their unique path to cope with their losses.
