I view our life journey as a collection of experiences that influence who we are and how we view the world. We often experience (and can expect) to deal with hurdles and roadblocks that can make some days unbearable. This is where counseling comes in. I love joining alongside others and empowering them to keep making steps when they don’t think they can. My passions and specialty lie within grief counseling. I have clinical experience, training, and a research focus on how counselors can best support grieving individuals of all ages on their unique path to cope with their losses.
As of June 28th, I am not seeing clients. I will update this page in the future with more information!

Grief Counseling
Grief is a universal experience that we all share. This can be the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, a change in financial status, etc. We all have experienced losses that change us and can be challenging to process.
RElationship Building
As humans, we are wired to crave social connections with others. However, those dynamics can be complicated and complex. Our relationships with family and friends are always evolving, potentially causing conflict that affect our daily living.
Emotion REgulation
There's no manual for life and all its stressors, surprises, and emotional rollercoasters. Further, many often feel societal pressures to express their emotions in certain ways, conflicting with their authentic needs. Add that with potential trauma and systemic barriers, emotional regulation can feel nearly impossible.
Depression & Anxiety
When we spend too much time on the past, guilt and shame can creep up and depressive thoughts can appear. When we focus too much on the future and the potential outcomes of any scenario, our anxiety surfaces. In both cases we are giving our energy to situations typically out of our control, leaving us feeling unsettled and "stuck."
