I take it as a privilege to have the time and resources to pursue many research projects and develop my identity as a scholar. Currently, I have experience and expertise in grief counseling preparation and training, trauma-informed grief counseling, and child and adolescent grief counseling.

Grief Research Projects (Re) Learning Our History: The Stories of Older Black Adults’ Experiences of Loss and Trauma This research study’s primary objective is to understand how older (65+) Black individuals’ losses and traumatic events across their lifespan have impacted their way of managing more recent stressors.
